Nick names are common in Bollywood. Actors, generally appreciate the nickname they are addressed with. But, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has always been an exception. She does not like her nickname ‘ Aish’. And interestingly, off late she has started to make an attempt to discourage people from calling her Aish.
Aishwarya requests the people to call her ‘ Aishwarya’ instead of ‘ Aish’. According to sources close to her, it is the over- usage of the nickname Aish by the media and her fans which has irked Aishwarya.
So, these days she has been trying to dissuade everyone around her to use the nickname. She recently showed her displeasure about people calling her by her nickname.
Aishwarya Rai says, “ I want the people to call me Aishwarya and not Aish. I do not want to spoil my good name. When I was new in the industry, it could be accepted if people found it difficult to pronounce my name, but now after all these years, people still call me ‘ Aish’ and that I do not like. So I urge everyone to call me ‘ Aishwarya’”.
The actress freely requested the media to call her Aishwarya and not ‘ Aish’.

Rajini ‘Robot’ Creates Terror At BO
To all those who thought that superstar Rajinikanth is down and out and his latest venture ‘Robot’ will be a dud, he has given a fitting reply. As per the latest reports, the film has recorded a whopping Rs 117 crores in just one week. This has got past the record set by the Hindi movie ‘Dabang’ (82 crores).
One of the noted distributors revealed that the film collected Rs 60 crores in Tamilnadu, Rs 30 crores in AP, Rs 4 crores in Kerala and Rs 8 crores in Karnataka. As for the Hindi version, it has collected Rs 15 crores. As for the screens, it opened up in 2200 screens as against the 1400 of ‘Dabangg’.
So far, about 92% occupancy is being reported across all centers. Even remote places like Ghaziabad, Jodhpur and Meerut are showing heavy rushes. Since the tax structure is different in the south, estimates say that it has crossed Rs 260 crores. That way, Robot has broken all possible records in a dubbed format.
